Together with Teacher’s Empowerment Platform and Kisoboka Africa, various panelists were hosted to discuss the extent of damage the pandemic has done and also plausible ways in which the sector can recover from the same. The panelists came from across the sector and they included, Abdikadhir Ismail (Principal Mwangaza Muslim Mixed Day S.S, Kenya), Dr. Pamela Nizeyimana ( Senior Education Officer, Department of Special Needs, Ministry of Education and Sports, Uganda), Julle-Ann Savarit-Cosenza (Co-founder and Executive Director, African Education Program, Zambia), Dr. Maina WaGioko (Head of Professional Development Center, Aga Khan Academy, Mombasa), Daisy Naluwegge ( Co-founder and program coordinator, Kisoboka Africa) and Mogga Charles Obede (Professional teacher, Juba, South Sudan).
